Source: Variety A Vairety article gives a long rundown of the new Fox studios current strategy and also obviously due to the Dark Knight's success, they've discussed Superhero films, one film in particular is mentioned. Though Fox has no plans for a major overhaul, the studio has scheduled a strategy meeting to assess the status of its superheroes, a group sorely missed this summer. On the agenda, Fox will mull the possibility of more "X-Men" spinoffs, including a young-X-Men project as well as "Deadpool," based on a character played by Ryan Reynolds in "Wolverine." The studio is even considering reviving the "Daredevil" property. | I really liked the last film with Ben Affleck in, Colin Farrell was great, as was Michael Clarke Duncan as KINGPIN. If they did retool it, perhaps they could just continue on from where the last film left off? I don't we've seen a great FOX superhero as yet apart from the first two X-Men movies - The third one was rather lifeless, rather like Spider-Man 3.. |
