Two reviews have come into to the AICN headquarters, from a Chicago screening. However the tiding aren't good - looks like they've left out chunks of the narrative that were'nt necessary and actually detrimental to the film and plot.

I enjoyed Order of the Phoenix, but a lot of the meat and bones of the original book were left out in favour for pacing. This worked to a point, but may have harmed the overall plotting of the series. These reviews reveal that the same has happened again but to a further extent. Considering how lot on plot the Half Blood Prince was, it seems an odd choice to remove some of the key moments and rearrange them to a make less of on impact in the finale.

Hopefully as is expressed, the director will be able to edit and make a more satisying experience, however I don't really believe this is what is going to happen, if if we have 9 months until release, I guess time will tell.
