Source: MTV David Twohy (writer/director of Chronicles of Riddick & Pitch Black) manages to talk about Riddick and it's sequel's every year, last time there was talk about a direct to DVD sequels. While talking to MTV, Vin Diesel talked about the possibilty of more films.  "[David Twohy is] right now is writing the scripts. The only question is whether we take a page from the ‘Lord of the Rings’ guys and try to shoot the two chapters at the same time. There are two more in mind."

I liked the Chronicles of Riddick, it was a little lifeless though, and it looks like Mr Twohy was suffering from Lucas-syndrome, too much reliance of spectle over content. However the universe showed potential and Vin Diesel is always worth making an effort for -even if his films seem to be a hit and miss affair. Vin's latest film Babylon AD is out this week. |
