Will it be the best Who ever...or just a big budgeted mess?
The much anticipated series finale to this year's Doctor Who run is being built-up into the stratosphere, with new exciting trailers, preview clips and release images flowing out of the Big British Castle.
This Saturday penultimate episode - "The Stolen Earth" - looks set to feature characters from all four modern Doctor Who series, it's two spin-off shows - Torchwood and The Sarah-Jayne Adventures.
A preview clip posted on the official Doctor Who website gives a very dark, emotional tone to the finale.
As reported earlier on the main page the finale sees the return of long time villain Davros, who was last seen in the Sylvester McCoy era story "Remembrance of the Daleks". This new trailer gives the further preview to this new incarnation of Davros, creator of the Dalek race:
While it seems obvious that the Daleks are finally invading present day Earth and enslaving mankind, the details of these events are still largely unknown. Why has Rose returned? Where did all these Daleks come from? How will they be stopped? Why does the Earth appear to be surrounded by other planets? Could Gallifrey be one of them? Will the Cult of Skaro return? And what is the signifance of the new Red Dalek?
And what can be expected of the final episode - "Journey's End"? Blue Peter was given the first exclusive look, with these images suggesting the rumours of a giant Death Star-like Dalek spacecraft - "The Crucible" were true:
