Oh boy.  Lacey apparently loves a Boy Band -world-famous Varsity Fan Club - (although she denies it) but we disbelieve it if only because of the episode title.

Annoying young, rich landlord artist (you need more reasons?) Pip scores an art show at a prestige gallery by ripping off Dub’s painting(s).

There’s a hole in space plugged by half a duck which must have been made by some devilish Wormhole (Duckhole?) machine,  and Ada the paranoid grannydroid is blue screened (“Blue.  Blue,  blue”) while trying to trace it.  (The machine,  not the Duck)

However she did star-69 the attacker which leads them to a professor with a fake daughter with electrifying talents (and low lab tables).  For the benefit of the titles,  it turns out she apparently likes the boy-group too.

The Pentarchs of Clothar (it turns out) are five intergalactic dictators who are (shock, horror) posing as the boy band,  raising funds and teenage girl screams to power their return to Clothar to resume their regime.  Cindy -the superfan daughter- is a Clotharian freedom fighter pledged to thwart their plans.

Except she gets slightly dead and the gang have to use Ada’s last battery power to foil the plot.  Cue sad goodbyes.  Ada, it should be noted, bears a strong resemblance to Dame Edna Everidge – but is considerably less cute, especially when her battery’s flat.

Back in the real (?) world Lacey and Noser hire Joe 90 the lawyer (who looks like someone I know..) to thwart Pip’s plans.  Pip however has the drop on them with the E(viction) word.

Fortunately a last-minute Truth bomb delivery by the Middleman makes Pip confess on TV and ruins his Art career for the moment.

And just to wrap things up nicely a mysterious crate is delivered to MM HQ…  what will it reveal?

It’s smart,  frothy,  weird,  nonsense and I love it.
